IPD
The International Patient Department (IPD) of the hospital is composed of experts and experienced doctors fluent in international languages, which provides a 24-hour platform for providing health services to international patients. The patient admitted through the international patient department is under the responsibility of the IPD doctor. Therefore, in order to provide faster and better quality services to patients admitted through the international patients department, services are provided outside of the usual scheduling. In this hospital, it is taking action to attract foreign patients. In this regard, attending important domestic and foreign events in the field of health tourism, including participation in congresses and many exhibitions that are held in the country, is on the agenda of the IPD unit. The senior IPD expert is responsible for coordinating the presence of international patients in the hospital and has direct supervision over all the patient's medical affairs. In this regard, in order to shorten the path of providing services, the presence of a welcome nurse in the lobby and the presence of a VIP/CIP expert in the hospital have been able to create effective levers for this department. The daily visits of the IPD doctor to all international patients in the hospital and the experienced and highly specialized team of doctors in this area is one of the cornerstones of patients' trust in Mehrgan Hospital. Billing in English along with Medical Report, at the time of discharge, it has created confidence in patients to continue treatment in the country or in another center. The inpatient departments are equipped with international video and written media approved by the Ministry of Guidance, installation of a welcome stand in the patient's language, providing food menus. Based on the nationality of the patient and the possibility of serving international food, one of the most important measures has been taken. The translation of all the hospital's documents and forms into both Arabic and English languages has been able to take an important step in the direction of protecting the rights of patients. In this regard, conducting daily surveys of international patients using different techniques (international questionnaire-face-to-face interview or e-mail to the hospital) and taking corrective measures in less than 12 hours has been effective in explaining and clarifying the rights of patients.
